Bodycam footage released by the Volusia Sheriff's Office shows officers rescuing a nonverbal autistic child named Coco from a pond on Christmas night. The 6-year-old boy had started swimming lessons after police rescued him from a different pond in August 2024. He is known to be attracted to water.

A box full of abandoned NYPD uniforms was discovered on 37th Street and 9th Avenue by a Boropark24 reporter. The box was found opened, with uniforms spilling out onto the street. Shomrim and NYPD were called. Officers responded and confirmed the clothing was authentic and belonged to a member with many years on the job, based on the different department uniforms found inside. It’s unknown why the uniforms were dumped in this manner or who left them there.
