The California Highway Patrol began chasing an allegedly stolen minivan on Monday morning, following it through a wide swath of Southern California before it made its way across the U.S.-Mexico border,

According to KABC, a woman who is believed to have mental health issues was driving the minivan. The pursuit started from Santa Clarita, KABC reports.

During her entire sum-odd 180-mile journey, Wilson avoided virtually all traffic. She reached the border in just two hours, leaving authorities in the dust as she absconded into Mexico.
