A cold wind and snow showers will ring in the New Year. Wind chills in the teens today with up to 1.5" of snow possible this afternoon into tonight. There could be a few snow squalls today, as well.

DETROIT - After Monday’s high winds and blowing snow, Tuesday’s forecast is a little more tame. Detroit, Ann Arbor and the entire Southeast Michigan area will have a chance for some light snow showers later today and into Wednesday. But it won’t be a lot of snow. An inch or less each day is expected.
