Hundreds of people lined the streets of Black Mountain Tuesday afternoon for an annual parade that expresses gratitude to local veterans.

Veterans from the Armed Forces Retirement Home brought sparkle and spirit to Sunday’s National Veterans Day Parade in D.C., with a float celebrating “Lady Veterans.”
